We%26#39;re traveling to Maine in mid-July for a wedding and wanted to visit Kennebunkport for a few days. We%26#39;re looking for a quiet place with decent-sized rooms or suites available (need space to put the travel crib and for us to be able to move around).
Not wedded to Kennebunkport proper, anything good in the area would definitely work for us.

Where is the wedding? Often the wedding will block off rooms at a better rate (but you must book by a fairly early deadline) and the hotels that book weddings tend to have lots of rooms with a whole variety of ammenities.
If it%26#39;s at the Colony House (a popular wedding venue) the rooms there (even the lower priced ones) range from roomy to downright spacious.

The wedding is actually in Georgetown, but we wanted to spend some time in Kennebunkport after. My husband spent a summer there as a kid.
Ooh, Georgetown is a bit of a haul, especially if the wedding goes late into the evening and you have to negotiate those winding roads between Georgetown and Bath after dark with a drink or two (or three) under your belt. Mapquest, which tends to be spot-on, says it%26#39;s a 98-minute drive to Kennebunkport. Could drag on to two hours if you slow down a bit because you are unfamiliar with the area, stop to refuel, get a coffee, etc.
There are lots of nice B%26amp;Bs in Bath, twovery nice B%26amp;Bs in Brunswick, and lots of clean new hotels in Freeport if you want to stay closer to the wedding. Might consider it at least the night of the wedding.
No worries about driving. We%26#39;re staying in Bath for two nights for the wedding, but we wanted to make a family trip out of this so we want to stop in the Kennebunkport area for a few days on the way home.
