pet friendly hotels

Has any stayed at a nice hotel with a nice room in the Bar Harbor

area that allows pets. We have one (possibly two) very large

dogs that will be traveling with us in June to this area. I%26#39;m

looking for a central location within walking distance to the town.

Thanks for any info. I researched the Balance Rock Inn - anyone

been there with a pet?

I have been inside the Balance Rock Inn in the past and I walk along the shore path in front of it often. It is a beautiful hotel right on the ocean and right in downtown Bar Harbor (just down a side street off of Main St.). They are one of the few place in town that allows pets (the Bar Harbor Inn used to, but they recently changed their policy).
