question about cottage in hulls cove

looking at a cottage on crooked rd by hulls cove it seems nice but i am concerned about the noise level it is close to the main highway about 60 yds from rt. 3. Anyone farmiliar with that area.

Also concidering another cottage on hadley point rd near eiden.

Anyone ever stay in this area?

Probably the hadley point road place would be better. Not only is the Crooked Road very close to the main highway, there is a big public works center there where they load gravel and stuff for construction. If you give me the name of the two places, I could help more.

That one looks good to me. It give its location and that is indeed close to everything.

This one doesn%26#39;t give a location but I can tell from the picture of the view that it is not on Mount Desert Island. It%26#39;s somewhere on the mainland with a view of the mountains. That means it would be at least a 20 minute drive to the nearest entrance to Acadia National Park. However, it looks like a very nice house and it is somewhat cheaper because it isn%26#39;t right on the island.

This one doesn%26#39;t give an exact location but the fact that is in Bar Harbor and on Frenchman%26#39;s Bay means it would be close to everything.

This one is on Mount Desert Island but on what we call The Quiet Side. You would be closer to Southwest Harbor than Bar Harbor. But that%26#39;s not necessarily a bad thing. Part of Acadia National Park and some good hikes are on that side of the island. And it%26#39;s only a 15 minute drive or so from one side of the island to the other and not as much traffic as coming onto the island from the Ellsworth area which you would have to do with the second cottage.
