I understand that Waterville is in essence land locked, but that is why I said around Waterville, it could be an hour away...I am just looking for something where I don%26#39;t have to drive for 6 hours.

Well in under 2 hrs you would have several options. I do not know of a specific company or boat name but there certainly would be something out of Rockland/Camden area or Belfast on the ocean or you could head inland to either Greenville or Naples and take a cruise on a lake. The trip on Moosehead lake up near Mt. Kineo is really nice, I have never done the one in Naples but have seen the big paddle wheel boat docked there on several occasions.

closest thing mite be driving to camden and doing one of those 2 hr cruises on a schooner - theyre not cheap tho - like 30 bucks a person -
