Has anyone taken the Lobstering Trip out of Perkins Cove. Would it be a fun experience for a family? As it appears to be only 50 minutes long, was it worth the fee?
Lobstering Trip
We have done the lobstering boats several times with our kids, now ages 11, 8 and 3. They enjoy the chance to see how ';dinner'; is caught, and the guides are full of interesting information. They will even pass around for all to see the wildlife the traps bring in such as sea stars and crabs. The time spent on the water, enjoying the scenery is wonderful. I would certainly recommend it.
Lobstering Trip
We have also done the lobstering trip with our kids -- they love it, you can%26#39;t go wrong. We also do the Finest Kind cocktail cruise out of Perkins Cove every year, too, with our kids. No matter which cruise you take, you MUST get out on the water at least once while in Ogunquit. The coastline is beautiful, and it is a totally different experience seeing it from the water!
