looking for cabin or cottage, for 4 nites, with as much privacy as possible, and kitchen facility. just a couple, no pets, no smoking, no kids.

My fav is well known at Bass Harbor Campground. Bring your own pillow and bags (or bedding). They are camping or rustic with shared good condition wash houses. You can get a cabin with some privacy or not. With a gas grill if needed. All with firepit and table. Some with covered front porch. The grounds are smaller, quieter, than most of the places. But is also on the ';other'; side of the island.

Many of the other campgrounds have cabins as well (Smuggler%26#39;s), but may rent by the week rather than the night. There are many little ';motel'; type places that have ';cabins'; as well. Can%26#39;t miss them.

my husband and i (both 31 - no kids) are staying at the Woodland Cabins and cant wait. this place books up almost a year in advance becasue the same people go back year after year. This will be our first trip there, but check it out - it has what you are lookig for.
