Get your fix of Maine

For all those interested, I thought I%26#39;d post a great website that has links to several webcams of the Maine coast. I check them daily and love seeing what the weather%26#39;s like everywhere, if the water%26#39;s choppy, or watching boat traffic. Many of sites also offer information on tides, moon phases, temperature, wind speed, etc.

Strange! I have the site saved under favorites and go to it daily with no problem.

But when I typed in the address I couldn%26#39;t get it either. I double checked to make sure the address I gave was correct and it was. But it still wouldn%26#39;t come up!

Here%26#39;s what works. Google boatmaine.us; when the site comes up, choose ';Places to go'; and then choose ';Webcams'; and that works. Funny though how it won%26#39;t come up going there directly by typing in the address...

To Anyone having trouble accessing the webcam website I mentioned.

Google %26#39;boatmaine.us%26#39;; then click on %26#39;places to go%26#39;; then click on %26#39;webcams%26#39;. This seems to be the only way to access the cams for some reason. However, once there and you decide you like it and want to check it daily, copy and paste the address and save to your favorites. That%26#39;s what I%26#39;ve done and it works everytime and I don%26#39;t have to go through all the extra steps to get it each time.

That %26lt;is%26gt; strange. I copied the url you gave, pasted into the IE browser line and it worked perfectly. Got a kick out of Geddy%26#39;s being the BH webcam---great beers and the best burgers on MDI.

I know this is quite a bit on from when this link was posted, but if this helps anyone....when I copied the url I accidentally copied the full stop at the end and it wouldn%26#39;t work. Once that was taken out it was fine. Great link...thanks for sharing it.

Glad some of you were able to access the webcams. I check them almost daily. I especially like the Bar Harbor and Portland Harbor cams the best.
