Full serve gas stations

I%26#39;m planning a trip to Maine and was wondering if there are still many full serve gas stations around.

I%26#39;m specifically wondering about Houlton, Bangor and the various rest areas along the I95.

I can%26#39;t speak for alot of areas in Maine but most stations along the coast are self-serve with a sprinkling of full service here and there.

I know there%26#39;s a full service station on route one in Brunswick, a Shell station I think. In Boothbay Harbor there%26#39;s a full serve Mobil (which used to be a Gulf station) which also can do repairs, etc.

Don%26#39;t know about Bangor, Houlton, etc. Hopefully someone familiar with those areas will pipe in :).

You sound like me!!! In all the years of losing more %26amp; more full service stations, I have yet to pump my own gas!!! For some reason it just scares the heck out of me!! In Bangor, close to the airport, and the interstate is a Citgo that is full service, that is my last stop when taking the rental car back to the airport.

Also in Camden there are at least 2 between Camden %26amp; Rockport, close to Shaws supermarket.

At home I am down to 1 that is close or my DH fills up for me!!! If I%26#39;m driving with family or friends that is their donation for the ride!!

I know sooner or later I will have to do this ';chore'; and I%26#39;m not looking forward to it.

I%26#39;ve been to Houlton, but I had my sister with me and she does the pumping when we travel!!!

There also is a full-service station in Ellsworth on Main St (which is Rtes. 1 %26amp; 3), about one block down from John Edwards%26#39;s.
