If you had to pick one, which one?
Docksider or Main Sail?Well, for what it%26#39;s worth (and that probably isn%26#39;t much):
I haven%26#39;t eaten at the Docksider and the last time I ate at the Main Sail was about 30 years ago.
The Main Sail is the somewhat pricey restaurant at the Kimball Terrace Inn---the largest lodging establishment in NE Harbor. It also is one of the places that bus-tour groups eat at.
The Docksider is more devoted to Maine seafood and probably has a more casual atmosphere.
I guess in summary, there are lots of very good restaurants on MDI, including those that concentrate on seafood, that I would choose before going to the Main Sail.
Docksider or Main Sail? One more thought.
There is another restaurant in NE Harbor that you might consider:
The Colonel%26#39;s Delicatessen and Restaurant. The deli is in the front, the restaurant is in the back, down a walkway on the side of the building. I haven%26#39;t had dinner there, but I%26#39;ve never been disappointed at lunch.
At last report, they still don%26#39;t accept credit cards, if that is a consideration.
cwvoigt - you haven%26#39;t steered me wrong yet, so your opinion always ranks high! Thanks for the info.
