If all you want is a place to stop and eat, I%26#39;d stay away from Dock Square. It should be a parking nightmare. Plus, Dock Square is not logically on your way to OOB. It%26#39;s way off I-95 and even Route 1.
Have you considered Cherie%26#39;s, see http://www.cheriesbakery.com in Kennebunk? That less of a detour. And very yummy!

I%26#39;ve been to Allison%26#39;s three or four times. I agree that parking around dock square may not be easy to find, but it may be advisable to just park in one of the sides treets before dock square. There is a small park in front of Captain Lord%26#39;s Mansion, and people usually park around there. Allison%26#39;s has the best lobster roll I%26#39;ve ever had, so I think it%26#39;s worth a try. Plus, service is friendly and the price is right. Enjoy Kennebunkport!
Allisson%26#39;s is our favorite place for a lobster roll. We have been here several times, but never in the summer. So I can%26#39;t comment on the parking. It is certainly worth going out of your way to get here, as we have done it many times.
We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Alisson%26#39;s just last weekend, it would be worth your while to detour slightly in order to take in Kennebunkport, its not that far out of your way, and a lovely quaint Maine town. Much different that OOB.
