What is the best beach hotel in Maine?

I%26#39;ll start and just through one out there... Higgins Beach Inn?

I%26#39;m sure there are better places. Anyone?

I%26#39;m not sure what a beach hotel is. Does it have to be right on a sand beach? Maybe Inn by the Sea in Cape Elizabeth would qualify. But it%26#39;s set back from the beach and the sandy part of the beach isn%26#39;t all that extensive. I%26#39;m not sure we have a beach hotel near Bar Harbor because we don%26#39;t have any real sand beachs except the one in Acadia and even that isn%26#39;t very extensive.
