Resturants and Things to do.

We are going to be in Bar Harbor for one full day. I have three boys, the youngest being 14. What resturants and activities should we check out?

This is the kind of question that is very hard to answer because you give us no idea of what you have already found out or what sorts of things your family enjoys doing or eating.

The choices are so many and so wide in Bar Harbor, that is hard to know where to begin. You can do a day or half-day kayak tour. You can rent bicycles and ride the carriage roads of Acadia National Park. You can hike a tough trail or an easy trail. You can go on a whale watch. You can take a Park-sponsored boat ride. You can simply take Oli%26#39;s Trolley tour through the town and Acadia.

As for restaurants there is everything from whole lobster eaten on a picnic table with the butter running down your elbows to fine dining. It%26#39;s hard to know what to recommend.

Head to Geddy%26#39;s for Lunch/supper. Rent bikes and bike the carriage trails. For the day. Can also hit the Jordan Pond house for lunch break.
