Hubby and I are from Baltimore, making a 10 day new england trip for the first time....we%26#39;ll be spending 2-3 nights in Ogunquit and driving to closeby Kennybunk and Portland. I%26#39;m really looking forward to Ogunquit - so many B%26amp;Bs and Inns to choose from - can you recommend affordable play to stay- walking distance to everything and that cute B%26amp;B feel? What about ';must see'; things to do nearby and restaurant recs? I know - I want it all in this post - THANK YOU! :)

If you enjoy art you%26#39;ll want to visit the Ogunquit Museum of American Art. It%26#39;s a small-ish but very nice art museum with a beautiful view and lovely grounds to wander with some nice sculptures as well.

Hi Telarat--Not sure what time of year you will be in Ogunquit. that plays a major role in the price of the stay and availability. Summer is probably quite booked as well as the Leaf Peak times in the fall.

The reviews on here are excellent and very on the mark. If you want super location, you will not beat Rockmere, right in the middle of the Marginal Way yet in a quiet residential neighborhood of single homes. You will not need the car the whole time you are in town.

There are great restaurants in Perkins Cove, a 10 min walk from Rockmere, The Oarweed, the Shack for rustic lobster/chowder are our favs. Rachael Ray featured the Oarweed and its noticeably busier this year but always great. Casual with a wonderful view.

Check out the reviews and you will find out all you need to know. Enjoy!

Five-O is a great restaurant. For gourmet French food, 98Provence on Shore Road is great but pricey. Cafe Amore is wonderful for breakfast. IF you want to be able to walk or take the trolley, try to stay on Shore Road or that vicinity. You can walk the Marginal Way, walk or trolley to the beach, to Perkins Cove etc. Portland is so charming, you will love it.
